Cool Blues
With Cool Blues, I wanted to explore what happens inside a musician during the act of improvisation. The work is part of my Bebop series, in which jazz is not merely the subject of the image, it shapes the composition itself.

"El Tocaor", part of my Bebop series, captures a musician absorbed in the intimate dialogue between player and instrument. Fiery oranges and yellows meet deep blues, turquoise and green, while expressive contours give the scene a syncopated visual rhythm.
After the Gig
After the Gig explores the silence that follows the music. A solitary figure lingers in the foreground while others disappear along a winding street, their dark silhouettes receding into a city still blazing with colour.
